Even by Vietnamese standards this place is cheap!  $3 dinners (soup, appetizer and main course) or $2.50 lunches.  Locals eat here too and the place is constantly packed.  I ate dinner and lunch here during my stay.  I highly recommend the set menu for $3.  Its the best deal in town for traditional Vietnamese food.  No ambience at all... but hey... eat here and then walk down the street!

We were recommended this place during our stay. It had some of the best food for very little money. The small portions are plenty. The place was packed full of locals and these are always the best critics.

This place has the best hot pot, all with the bits and pieces that should come with a hot pot! The firiendly staff will cook and serve your food, while you sit on the street and soak it up. Cheap and cheerful food and cold beer..Interestingly enough the place across the road was recommended by Lonely Planet. We went there and waited ages for a drink, while waiting we could see New Day from the balconney and decided we had to go there to eat instead! Only regret was we found it on our las day!
