I started my trip on 15th, November to Hanoi, VietNam with my girlfriend. This is the best trip ive had. Hanoi is so beautiful just like a virgin girl:). Vietnamese people are so friendly. I had a super good time at this hotel. Everythin is incredible. The price is affortable(I'm s atudent so im dont have much money).The price is low but everythin is so great. The room is huge wit 2 big beds, air con, plasma lcd tv, free wifi... Everythin is just for $28. The staff is so friendly. Jimmy and Jack helped me a lot. I got plenty of rare souvenir. When i wanna have some special dishes,i just asked the staff to take me there. They even gave me a bike tour around the city free:). The hotel is near hoankiem lake and dongxuan market, 2 famous spot in hanoi. I have city view from my balcony. At night, it was a little bit cold...I just stood on the balcony and watch hanoi at night is so sparkling, seductive ad wonderful. I could watch the best part of hanoi from there. 4 days stayed is too short for me and my girlfriend. We goin to come back hanoi next summer and surely we'll stay in hanoi civility hotel:)

I have to say this is the best middle-range hotel in hanoi. Everything here is just so perfect. The hotel is in the center of hanoi and surrounded by banks, bars, shops. It takes me just 3 mins to go from the hotel to hoankiem lake. I hate dirt and bad service so i never stay in a under-3-stars hotel, but this 2 stars hotel is so clean. I can hadly find dirt on the table, on the window. The staff is so helpful. They always smile. When i ask them to do me a favor, they're whole-hearted helping me. They helped me to buy many goods wit reasonable prices. I just have to pay $28 1 day for my deluxe room.

The manager Mr. Jimmy is an excellent English speaker and become more like a friend than a manager to us during our stay of 5 nights at this hotel. All of the staff was so helpful; helped us with maps, tours and food delivery. The Civility Hotel has an excellent location in the middle of old quarter and nearby to almost everything; banks, restaurants, bars, shopping etc. If you stay more than 4 nights they will give you free pick-up from Noi Bai airport worth $ 15. They offer standard room $ 16 and deluxe room $ 25 including breakfast and daily coffee/ fruit in lobby. We stayed in deluxe room; balcony with city view, private bathroom, air con, 32 flat TV with UBC movie/sport channels for only $ 25/night. We recommend this hotel because; excellent rates, clean rooms in a quiet street, friendly and helpful staff that will do everything for the guests.

We found the Hanoi Civility Hotel through a man who came up to us on the street wlile we were walking with backbacks. We are skeptical of these "hawkers of rooms" but decided to check it out. Glad we did. The Civility is brand new (Oct 2009) and it shows. The room was huge with a great bed, great AC, and big bath with excelent shower and everything was spotless. The staff at the desk was very enthusiastic about their new hotel and helpful with local questions. Only bummer might be the staircase to the rooms; there is no elevator but exercise is good. The place is very small with I think, only six rooms, so once word gets out it might be full. The hotel's location is great for walking around the old quarter of Hanoi. We highly recomend the Civility and owner, Mr. Jimmy. At 15 bucks a night you can't go wrong for a clean, safe place to stay in Hanoi.

Friendliest ever staff in a wonderful hotel, made our stay in Hanoi for us! I stayed at the hotel with 3 friends, we stayed for 2 nights then came back for another night after our Halong Bay trip. Jimmy and the other staff made our stay such a memorable and enjoyable experience definietly the best service we had in Vietnam.

They could not do enough to help us and make us feel at home in Hanoi. The rooms were really nicely decorated and fantastic value for money. Jimmy (the manager) went above and beyond what is expected from a hote manager and we had so much fun at this hotel-they also helped us with booking trains and trips and helped us with any queries we had. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

I hardly recommend Hanoi Civility Hotel. It has been so far the best hotel i ve been in during my whole trip in Vietnam. The rooms are amazing, air cond, flat screen tv, massive beds, windows (!!!!), balcony, bathroom... =] free wireless

I have to say that appart from this, the service was PERFECT. We felt like we were part of the family, everyone has been extraordinary kind and so nice !! I really recommend this place it ended up being a way cheaper and so much better then all the places we looked before (backpackers, hotels, .. )
